How long should a proposal photo session be?

For the proposal itself, 30 minutes is usually enough: it covers the moment of the question, the reaction and the first photos as an engaged couple. Choose 60 minutes or more if you want portraits at several locations, and the 90-minute collection if you’d like to turn the day into a mini photo tour of Prague.

It depends on the mood you want. Two of my favorites are a hidden Baroque garden steps from Charles Bridge (quiet and private, ending with iconic bridge views) and a secret riverside spot with an unobstructed view of Charles Bridge, ideal at golden hour before sunset. Early morning and the hour before sunset give the softest light, and the morning is also the quietest time at popular places like Charles Bridge. Midday is the busiest. I advise on exact timing for your date, taking light, tourist crowds and weather into account.

How do you make sure she doesn’t find out?

I plan the whole day with you in advance: where to meet, how to lead your partner to the spot and when to give me the signal. During the session I stay at a distance, look like a regular tourist photographer and guide the situation discreetly behind the scenes. All you need to do is ask the question.

What happens if it rains?

We plan a weather backup together, either an alternative location or a new time. If I will have a capacity, we can reschedule to a different time.

When will I receive my photos?

Professionally edited, high-resolution photos are delivered the same day, so you can share the news right away. They are stored in an online gallery that stays available permanently.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you know your travel dates, especially for spring through autumn and around holidays, when dates sell out. But I can usually accommodate last minute requests too. If you are unsure, send an inquiry with your dates and I will confirm availability.
