I am a documentary wedding photographer focused on capturing honest emotions, meaningful connections, and timeless moments as they naturally unfold. To me, wedding photography is about far more than beautiful portraits or perfectly styled details — it is about preserving the feeling of your day and the people who shared it with you.
Your wedding is not a photoshoot built around endless posing. It is the beginning of a new chapter, where two families come together to celebrate love, connection, and presence. My approach is rooted in creating space for real moments instead of interrupting them. I believe in slowing down, being fully present, and allowing memories to happen naturally.
Inspired by my background at art university, where analog photography played a significant role in my creative education, I often incorporate film photography and medium format cameras into my work. Film allows me to photograph weddings with intention, depth, and a timeless artistic feel that digital alone cannot fully replicate.
I specialize in natural documentary wedding photography with an editorial and artistic touch. Quietly observing throughout the day, I focus on genuine interactions, fleeting emotions, and the atmosphere that makes your wedding uniquely yours. The result is a refined and cohesive gallery filled with authentic moments, elegant portraits, and emotional storytelling.
I believe wedding photographs should feel just as powerful decades from now as they do today. Every wedding I photograph is approached with care, emotion, and attention to legacy — creating timeless imagery that can be passed down through generations.
Let’s dive into some frequently asked questions.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
Just fill out this questionnaire and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If I am available, we will set up a coffee in my studio or e-call via appear.in/khiriaphoto to get to know each other a little bit and see if I match your vision.
To hold the date I require a booking fee.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Absolutely! Half of my bookings are international. And traveling is my big passion. Do not hesitate to ask for any destination.
WHY DON’T YOU POST YOUR PRICES?
Every wedding is different, I’d like to hear your story, understand your vision and based on that I will tailor a package just for you.
DO YOU SHOOT FILM?
I truly love film photography. Coming from an art university background, where analog photography was a significant part of our education, I’m happy to offer film photography as an add-on to your wedding photography package. You can find detailed pricing for film rolls and developing in my pricing guide.
CAN WE BOOK HALF-DAY PACKAGE?
Absolutely! I offer flexible half-day wedding photography packages that can be fully tailored to fit your wedding plans, timeline, and vision. Whether you are planning an intimate celebration, city wedding, elopement, or smaller destination wedding, I can create custom documentary wedding photography coverage that captures the most meaningful moments of your day naturally and authentically.
DO YOU SHOOT ELOPEMENTS THEN?
I love elopements! And yes, elopements are usually shorter than a wedding with many guests. Absolutely get in touch with me and I will offer you some elopements photo shooting possibilities.
WHEN WILL BE THE PICTURES READY?
First sneak peek is typically available a few days after the wedding. The whole gallery is going to be ready typically within 8 weeks. You will receive them via passworded client access.
DO YOU SELL WEDDING ALBUMS?
I do! Handmade custom books is exactly what your wedding photographs deserve. I offer book making after the wedding.
DO YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
Yes, always. I can’t split myself and be in two spots at once, therefore I have my second pair of eyes with me. The assistant helps me cover “getting ready” and the ceremony. The rest of the day they assist me with my tools, checking your dress, etc.
DO YOU USE A FLASHLIGHT?
I use a flashlight only for the dance floor. I much prefer natural light. That being said, be careful when you book your venue if they have enough light there. One quick tip – lots of candles help to create the atmosphere and the light I need! There is nothing worse than a flash disturbing the reception and speaker’s attention. I am there to document it all, not to ruin the atmosphere. That’s why I don’t use the flash until is needed for dancing, which is typically in low-light
ARE THE PICTURES RETOUCHED?
All pictures are edited (color setting, exposure fix etc.) but I do not retouch them. Wedding photography in my point of view is a pure photo document. I can fix some skin irritation on few of your close-ups from the couple’s session. But definitely not on every candid shot from the day.
CAN YOU PROVIDE UNEDITED PICTURES?
No, I can’t. The final product is just an edited selection of the best photos from the day. I will not hide any good picture from you and I usually give more than included in the package.
DO YOU TAKE SOME “UPON REQUEST” PHOTOS?
If they are not against my style or aesthetics than yes. I will not shape your guest into a heart. I will not let the wife choke the husband’s neck. Because I believe the marriage is not the end of life or freedom. I welcome any ideas about places and mood board from my portfolio.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP PHOTOS?
I do, but I prefer to align it with the closest family and friends only. The rest of the guest will be naturally captured having fun at the reception.
