This is what you do when you want to go back to the roots: you do not choose modern dresses, but traditional Austrian dirndl; as a wedding venue, you pick a cottage with mountain views; and instead of DJ, you go for folk music.

Then you have a wedding like in the old days. In these hurried times, it was like a miracle. I especially appreciated that the traditional dress code was respected by all guests. Occasionally, it was fun to see the guests – who looked like they were from the ancient times – checking their smart phones.
This was the April wedding in Austrian Graz.
Weather was lovely, it almost felt like summer… Which is very unusual at the foothills of the Alps in the spring. We could spend most of the day out and the guests had a chance to admire the wonderful view.
And, of course, dance till the sunset.
